DescriptionA wooden cottage situated on the banks of Drummond's Creek (now the Hatea River). A small launch is near the shore. According to the caption, this cottage was built in 1885 as a town house for the Edwards family who lived at Waikaraka. Hatea Drive now covers the area where the cottage once stood. Drummond's Creek once reached the edge of Laurie Hall Park.
