"Advocate photographer Nick Randall.
The man behind many of this paper's photographic features over the past five years, left photo-journalism to go into business on his own account. He brought Faithfull Photography in Whangarei.
Mr Randall began his camera career in a studio in Blenheim and later joined the staff of the Christchurch Star, on which he worked for five years. He came to Whangarei five years ago with the idea of working a couple of years to see Northland and return to the South Island, but has enjoyed life up this end of the country so much he has now settled.
Married with one son, Mr Randall was farewelled by the staff of the Advocate yesterday."GenderMale
