Located on the shoreline at Opononi, Hokianga Harbour. Original building was the gum-store owned by John Webster who in 1894 sold the building to Alfred Sprye Andrewes who converted the gum-store into a two storey hotel. In 1959 a fire destroyed the original two-storey hotel.
